Handsome Benny is a sight for sore eyes! This one year old German Shepherd is in need of an experienced handler who will be dedicated to making sure he lives a happy and well rounded life. Benny was brought to the Humane Society of Ventura County on February 6th from one of our rescue partners and has been a hit with our staff and volunteers.

Just ask Kennel Attendant Natalie who has a soft spot for this big guy. Natalie characterized Benny as, "A big lover with lots of energy who loves to give kisses". When asked to describe his perfect family Natalie replied, "Benny will need a strong leader who can show him the ropes. Benny doesn't know his own strength but listens well and just wants to be around his human". Benny already walks well on a leash and loves playing with toys and in water. 

Benny is excited to be a part of a family who will engage him in regular training courses and proper exercise.This eager young dog will make a wonderful companion for the right person and in return you will receive a lifetime of love and devotion.
