The current drought situation forces wild animals into our neighborhoods in search of sources of food and water. This may cause our pets to have increased interactions with wild animals, such as coyotes and raccoons. It is good time to make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccines to help protect them from the rabies virus.

Lewis Veterinary Service offers low cost vaccination clinics on the First and Third Saturday of every month between 10:00 am and 1:00pm pm in the Humane Society parking lot located at 402 Bryant Street in Ojai. No appointment is necessary. Payment is cash only. For safety reasons, please make sure all dogs are leashed or in a carrier and all cats are transported in a pet carrier. For more information on pricing, please call Lewis Veterinary Service at 805 646-2442.

The Humane Society can license you dog at the same time. Bring your pet’s spay/neuter certificate and Rabies Certificate to the Administration office. Payment for license is by check or cash only. Make checks payable to Ventura County Animal Services.
