We have good news! Jean Grey has found her forever home! Last week a wonderful family adopted her. Jean Grey first arrived at the shelter as a kitten on September 25th of last year with quite a few of her siblings. Her brothers and sisters found new homes very quickly, however Jean Grey was timid and ended up being overlooked over and over again. Jean Grey grew up in our kitten room and when she was big enough moved in with the adult cats. She made lots of feline friends but was never quite sure of humans.

 Her new family was moved by her story and willing to do whatever it takes to help Jean Grey learn to trust people. Well, they didn’t have to wait long! We received a report just the very next day letting us know that Jean Grey was already warming up and even tried out sitting in one of their laps! We are so happy for Jean Grey and so relieved that she found such a wonderful home. Thank you to everyone out there with the patience and compassion to take these animals that need a bit more direction and special handling. Good luck Jean Grey!
