It's The Season For Giving!

belladonations.jpg

This young lady is Bella. Bella has been an advocate for animals in need for quite some time and last week she stopped by the shelter with her father Charles with an amazing donation!

In little over a week and a half Bella had raised an entire cart full of food for our Pet Food Bank at Ojai Valley School where she is a student. Our Pet Food Bank provides free pet food to low-income pet guardians. One of the most common reasons for pet relinquishment is financial difficulty, and the Pet Food Bank hopes to help people who are struggling keep their beloved animals. Our Humane Officers deliver pet food to folks throughout the county who may be going through a difficult time, their pets, may in fact be the only family they have.

As the season of giving is upon us we are so grateful for your support and look forward to paying back your kindness by being their for our community when you need us the most. Thank you Bella for your thoughtfulness and wonderful donation!

*The Pet Food Bank is entirely supported through community donations. We are always in need of Dog and Cat food, wet or dry, to keep the Pet Food Bank stocked. You can drop off donations at our location at 402 Bryant St in Ojai. Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out.
