Tinsel is a super playful, gorgeous 8-year-old cat who arrived at HSVC with Humane Officers in November 2022. Our emerald-eyed girl has an impawssibly sweet purrsonality! She is a little shy when initially meeting new furiends, but once Tinsel trusts her humans, she expresses herself with adorable squeaky meows and purring like a built-in motor.

Tinsel actively seeks attention and thrives in the company of kind humans in tranquil spaces. She loves it when folks scratch her belly, rump, and head and is quick to melt into a cuddle puddle with her people. She often follows her humans around to request tasty treats or to play with toys. She has proven to be incredibly adaptable but still does not appreciate being picked up or held.

Our girl Tinsel enjoys acoustic guitar serenades and eavesdropping on human conversations. She is highly aware of her environment, sensitive and reactive to abrupt noises and sudden movements, but has progressed light years while in foster. She loves basking in the sunshine on her post, hiding in her cubby and relaxing on dining room chairs.
