Thank you to everyone who visited the Humane Society of Ventura County last Friday to celebrate Oliver's 30th Bird Day!

Oliver, an Umbrella Cockatoo, was surrendered to the shelter 25 years ago and has been greeting both our two-legged and four-legged guests ever since. Since 1992, people of all ages have enjoyed his playful antics, wit, and unforgettable singing voice. Oliver has become more than just the shelter's mascot but an Ojai celebrity.
