Give a Gift, Change a Life!

As the life blood of the Humane Society of Ventura County, our supporters have shown an unmatched level of commitment to our mission of: Promoting the health, safety, welfare, compassionate care and protection of all animals through education and community outreach programs. The numerous animals that are adopted each month, alone, show us our community cares about the welfare and future of animals in need.

However, money is essential to achieving our goals and saving even more lives. On average it costs over $3200 a day to run the Shelter and cover the cost of the vital programs offered to the community. It is with your support that we are able to provide many essential services to the animals that come through our doors each year. Your donations provide shelter, medical care, spay and neuter, and adoptions for the animals entrusted in our care. But that’s not all! The HSVC also educates the community about respect and kindness to all animals and is home to Ventura County’s only two Humane Officers who investigate cases of animal neglect and cruelty.

In 2018, we are excited to bring even more people and animals together to enrich each other’s lives and we know you are too! We are humbly asking our supporters to include the Humane Society of Ventura County in their contributions this giving season. Thank you for considering this request for your support. We truly appreciate your love and con- cern for our shelter animals and the progressive community outreach services the Humane Society provides.
