Hello Handsome! This stunning Husky is our friend Shadow. Shadow originally came to the Humane Society of Ventura County after being signed over to our Humane Officers in the field back in May. Shadow is about 1.5 years old and from what we have observed is a very sweet and playful pup! Shadow is very friendly and people oriented, and while he may do well with another dog he should be in a adult home without small animals. Shadow can be very high energy but he will also settle down nicely to hang out. As you can see from his picture, one of Shadow’s favorite things is water and will be more than happy to tag along on beach trips and hikes up to the local watering holes. 

Shadow was briefly adopted in June and while it did not work out the family provided us with some very helpful information to help get him into the right home. Shadow is crate trained and already knows his basic commands. He enjoys riding in the car, walks well on a leash, and is not a big barker. Shadow will need a very active family and will greatly benefit from structured training sessions.
