We are so happy for sweet Butterscotch who was adopted by Susan on Saturday! Butterscotch was brought to the Humane Society of Ventura County mid-November.

It was obvious that this young Shepherd mix was expecting and on November 28th she gave birth to a beautiful litter of puppies. With the help of staff Butterscotch raised her puppies here at the shelter and they have since all found wonderful new homes. While each and every adoption is special it is always so heartwarming to see a momma dog find a deserving home after going through so much. Thank you to everyone who made this adoption possible and to Susan for giving this great girl a loving home!
