After 366 days at the shelter, we are thrilled to share that Chucky has found his forever home! Now Max, the 3-year-old Bull Mastiff/Siberian Husky mix will be living happily ever after with Allison. As you can see, he's already quite comfortable in his new digs!

Max began his journey with HSVC in mid-April 2023 after our Humane Officers brought him to the shelter as part of a humane investigation. Staff and volunteers immediately fell in love with his gentle giant personality and affinity for giving kisses. We couldn't figure out why he was at the shelter for so long!

Allison recently visited HSVC in search of a loving companion pup. Max was recommended to her by a friend who works at the shelter and there was an instant connection as soon as the pair met. It didn't take long for Allison to finalize the adoption and bring sweet Max home. According to Allison, Max took to his new space quickly and already feels like part of the family. We couldn't be happier for this deserving pup! Thank you, Allison, for taking a chance on Max!
