Thank you to everyone who attended this past weekends Cats in the Canyon and Hounds in the Hollow event! We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. It’s an incredibly good feeling for the HSVC family to have been able to look out into the crowd and see all your smiling faces in support of animals in need throughout the county. This may have been our most successful year yet!

We would especially like to thank our sponsors who made this event happen, RichCo Plumbing for treating us all to Bocalli’s famous delicious Strawberry Shortcake, our committee members who put so much time and effort into making this event happen, Greg Cooper and Cláudia Figueiredo for photographing the event, all our volunteers who made the day so special by sharing their expertise and compassion for the animals, to the Main Street Jazz Band for the amazing music, and of course to Bocalli’s Restaurant for hosting the event at their beautiful location.

Our Buy-It-Now marketplace was another opportunity to raise funds for the shelter and we were so impressed with all the donations we received this year. Thank you to all those who donated an item for their generosity!!
