We Are There For Them When They Need It Most

Animal_Rescues.pngThe staff of the Humane Society is often called to rescue animals or take in animals that have been found or are injured. The kitten pictured to the right was found without a mother and needed immediate attention. We often take in such animals where they can be fostered until they are old enough and strong enough to go to a forever home.

While we do this often for domestic animals, we often serve only as a holding area for wild animals until a more appropriate rescue group can be contacted.

Animal Services can also help with wild animals in urban areas. To contact them, call 388-4341.
