When Chance arrived all the way back in April, we knew it was going to take a lot of love to get him well again. His fur was covered in mats, with foxtails in his ears, and what we soon learned was nerve damage in his spine, this young dog was in need of some serious care. 

Under the guidance of a local veterinarian and the generous donations of our supporters, Chance made huge improvements and we are excited to let everyone know that Chance was adopted by Sara last week!

It’s hard to imagine all that Chance has endured, his upbeat personality and friendly demeanor were a joy to be around and we will miss him dearly. Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who took Chance under their wing and made sure he felt loved at all times. We are so grateful to those who believed in Chance and donated to his medical fund, to John Darling and his Tinker's Treat fund that covered Chance's adoption. We are very thankful for the expertise and help of Dr. Junia Childs DVM, a holistic veterinarian here in Ojai who gave him several successful treatments, and everyone who aided in getting him to where he is today-into a loving home!
