Spring is here and with the change of seasons comes big changes in education. Students and teachers are no longer learning in their classrooms. Instead, they are participating in distance learning from home as a result of COVID-19. To continue humane education outreach efforts, HSVC Humane Educator Angie Chupek Sagliani has created interactive online presentations designed specifically for distance learning.

While the shelter is still currently closed due to COVID-19, we still want to show just how much our volunteers mean to us. Social distancing has become a normal practice for society as a result of the recent COVID-19 outbreak. According to the CDC, the term “social distancing” or “physical distancing” means to keep space between yourself and other people outside of your home. Keeping space between yourself and others is one of the best things you can do to avoid being exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
