Thank You, Mechanics Bank!

By Humane Society of Ventura County

On June 30th, 2023, a team from HSVC was on hand to receive a sponsorship check from Michelle Pitt-McQueen, Vice President and Retail Area Manager of Mechanics Bank (Ojai), and her team, in the amount of $2500. This generous donation was given to the shelter in honor of our 91st birthday and was used to help sponsor our June 9th and 10th birthday celebrations. We had a great turnout at both events and raised funds that will allow HSVC to continue performing vital animal welfare services throughout Ventura County. We know our birthday weekend would not have been successful without the generous support of sponsors like Mechanics Bank! We invite any animal-loving organizations or individuals interested in sponsoring next year's birthday bash events to reach out to Steve McCurry, Community Development Manager, at 805-299-6350 or via email at [email protected], As a private nonprofit, the HSVC does not receive any funding from the government or any other animal welfare organization. We rely solely on these types of generous donations to continue serving those in need throughout the county. You can join our cause by making a donation on our website.
